Emergency Veterinarian Positions

Adelaide Animal Emergency and Referral Centre – Kurralta Park

 

 

These positions require veterinarians with experience or a special interest in emergency medicine and surgery. This is a fast-paced environment dealing with critical care & emergency patients. Working alongside experienced and specialist veterinarians provides you with an opportunity to learn and advance your knowledge. We also encourage general practice veterinarians to apply for those wanting to transition into a career of emergency medicine.

 

As a successful candidate you will require

  • Registration or eligibility for veterinary registration in South Australia
  • Experience or interest in emergency medicine
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with a commitment to gold standard care
  • Passion for pets (naturally), with excellent animal handling skills
  • Exceptional communication and a ‘can do attitude’
  • Interest in, and commitment to, working in a team environment
  • Attention to detail with record keeping and patient hospital plans
  • Work collegially alongside management and other departments providing feedback to line managers to facilitate improvement
  • Ability to work within a 24/7 roster
